Depoimento: I hired Dorene to sell a rental property (condo) in Scottsdale. I live out of state and the place needed some repairs and upgrades following an eviction and a decade of substandard property management before it could be listed. Dorene visited the property, took many detailed pictures, and made recommendations for the improvements. She has a network of repair people she uses and trusts and arranged for them to come and give me estimates. I communicated and negotiated directly with these workers, and paid them directly. Dorene was my "eyes on the ground" since I couldn't be there, directed me to the best deals and diligently scheduled and supervised the various workers that came to the property. When complete, the place looked fabulous! During this process, Dorene provided me with sale comps of similar condos in the area before she listed the property. I had an offer in a couple of days and was in escrow in less than 1 week at an above market price. Dorene guided me through both the negotiating and escrow process. She also arranged immediate repairs in response to inspection issues that the buyer identified. This process went very smoothly and quickly. She called and updated me daily.Overall, it was a pleasure working with Dorene. She is very professional, reliable and organized, and she made a very stressful situation for me less worrisome. Depoimento: I was interested in a renting one of her listed properties, I called several times and never once got a return phone call. The one time I was able to catch her on the phone, the only information she would give me was that the property I was interested in was going for $800/month and had an open house on the following Saturday from 12-3. I failed in getting her to show me the property sooner, though I requested it twice. When I did show up to the open house (at 1:20) there was a hand written note on the door that said, "The open house was from 10 am to 1 pm. Call for a showing or come back for the next open house Saturday 12-3." SERIOUSLY!!! I doubt this woman even wants to get this property rented. Do NOT use her for your listings. She must not understand that showing houses and returning phone calls of interested renters is part of the trade.
