And this was no easy task, as we entered 30 day escrow on both homes.From start to finish, things ran smoothly. After reaching out to them, Oscar and Lynn came to our home on a Sunday to go over comps, and tell us a bit about their process. A couple days later, the photographer came for the photo shoot, taking some amazing pictures. We listed our home by the end of the week, accepting an offer 2 days later for the exact amount they told us it would sell for. Amazing! They then helped us craft an offer for a home that we had our eye on, making sure all the necessary contingencies were in place to protect us in the even something went awry with our sale. This offer was accepted without a counter and we were off to the races!One may ask why we chose Oscar and Lynn as our buyer and seller agents. The answer is simple: when dealing with the buying/selling of the largest assets in our lives, you want someone you can trust, someone with integrity, someone who is knowledgable to protect you from what you don’t know, and someone who feels like family. She displayed the utmost professional demeanor at all times and went out of her way to respond to interested parties at a moment's notice, especially since she is located in Richmond and my house is located in Petersburg. After showing a variety of available units, we adjusted our parameters and Linda was successful in finding the right place. She never showed a unit way outside of our guidelines, and never made us feel we needed to spend more. In other words, she listened to us. At a considerably later date, I asked a realty related question, Although she could have ignored it, Linda responded with an educated and helpful answer.
