Depoimento: I first spoke to him on Monday of last week (Apr. 20th) regarding an apartment I found on Zillow.com. I asked to set up a viewing of the property and he told me that he had to get the keys from the landlord; it wasn't until the end of the week, Friday, that he was able to arrange for me to come by. Unfortunately, though I waited for over an hour, he wasn't able to extract himself from his other appointments, and so we arranged for me to come back again the next day, Saturday. I showed up Saturday morning, met the landlord, saw the apartment, liked it, he liked me, and we shook hands all around, agreeing that I would return the next day with one month's rent and deposit ($2,000.00). (We even discussed if it should be cash or check).The next morning I received a text from Mr. Spezzano that I found curious: it asked if I was “still interested in that apartment”, that the landlord “had someone else but would prefer to rent it to you”. I called him to confirm our agreement from the day before and that is when he informs me that I should also bring another $1,000.00 for him as his fee. I’m totally taken aback by this as the website had indicated there was no fee for this rental, not to mention the fact that Mr. Spezzano, supposedly a 30 year veteran in real estate, had never once mentioned any such fee during all the days leading up to our meeting with the landlord. He told me that “there is always a fee” and if he hadn’t mentioned it before it was just an “oversight” on his part. I told him that I was disappointed and would not be able to take the apartment under these conditions.“Disappointment” is an under-statement. The next day (Monday) the website for the apartment now included words referring to a “broker’s fee”. I filed a complaint with the Zillow.com website that they forwarded to Mr. Spezzano’s agency, but it’s been over a week and there has been no response. This is not a good sign regarding the professionalism of this agency. I am also concerned that the landlord, who approved of me as a tenant, may not know the true reason for my not being able to take his apartment.All in all it was a terrible experience to come so close to obtaining a decent apartment only to lose it because some persons are not as up front with others as they should be.

Depoimento: Sharon represented me in both buying and selling my house. I bought my first house at 24y/o in Feb. 2013. Sharon was extremely helpful in making sure I, as a young, single, first time home buyer, was getting what I wanted, that I understood each and every step of the process, and I was still never made to feel pressured in any way. After my father passed away in the summer of 2014, I needed to sell and move back to Florida to be with my family. Sharon did everything possible to market my property, including websites, a professional photographer, multiple open houses, signs, and fliers. When we finally did get an offer, the buyer and buying agent were extremely irresponsible and unprofessional, but Sharon was always diligent in doing everything we could to get the deal done, even dropping by the property regularly to check on it after I had moved back to Florida prior to the close. Sharon Colbert is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. If the scale went to 100 stars, that would be my recommendation, because I literally can't express how grateful I am for how Sharon represented me as a client in both of our transactions.
