She responded quickly through email, which worked better for my work schedule than chatting by phone, we met for many showings and she was patient as it took me a bit longer than average to find my house. She's knowledgeable about Charlotte neighborhoods and/or goes to check out a new/upcoming neighborhood in advance of a showing, to give general feedback (especially helpful if you want to know what a neighborhood is like during your workday and she's able to check it out!).

We just endured one of the most difficult processes, the sale of a large home in which we lived for 40 years and the transition to a home half that size. I am so thankful that I chose Tom Dooner and Jim Hocker to help sell our home in Haverford and buy a new home in Gulph Mills. Make no mistake -- these are not part time agents: They are there for you when you need them and they know what they are doing! The entire Duffy firm was great: John, Lynn, Winnie - they were always available with good humor, and friendliness and expertise every step of the way. No, these are not the agents who 'get the listing' by telling you whatever you want to hear an then leaving the work to their 'crew." There was no pressure, snobbishness, personality difficulties and the like with Duffy Real Estate. And we sold out house in a very difficult market while similar homes sat on the market for many months. With our new house hunt, Tom and Jim found a great engineer inspector and encouraged us to walk away from homes that might become a nightmare later. You can tell when someone just wants to make the sale and doesn't really care about you. That's not Duffy. I really like these people and highly recommend them. Simple as that.

We were casually house hunting and not working with any particular realtors when we met them at an open house. After chatting with them both, my husband and I totally hit it off with them because they "got it" right away. They immediately understood our particular needs and offered to represent us and get us going on some listings. Debbie drove around with us to lots of opens and talked us through our pros and cons; answered every question, was ALWAYS available -- both Debbie and Davina were honest, resourceful, and very experienced in and knowledgeable about the local areas so we trusted them right away. That trust was well-placed as it turned out they were also great negotiators and experts at catching things that needed work in the new house. Having only bought houses back East, we also needed someone with real smarts about the LA market and if it weren't for Debbie and Davina we would not have been able to make a quick and successful offer in this current market.
