Depoimento: Unfortunately our experience with Mr. Tyson was not a great one. There were numerous disappointing situations. A month into our house being sold he left out of country for 3 weeks. The coverage he provided was inconsistent. With the time difference it was very difficult to have contact, receive updates, learn when people were viewing our home etc.....Our home was empty and many times we returned to find that the house was shown w/o our knowledge and lights were left on, heat turned way up, wet dirty floors due to snow etc.... When we brought any of our concerns to Mr. Tyson's attention he was abrasive and defensive in his responses. We even had a meeting to discuss his demeanor with us, this did not bode well either. It was clear he wanted to sell the home quickly by often suggesting to lower the price, not because it was overpriced, but to sell it and get a commission. He did became very responsive in being in contact with us when his contract was ending. The house sold weeks before the contract terminated. We told he we were going to go it alone and he became very upset with us. We had actually been in contact with another realtor. The end of our relationship was very frustrating. He strongly encouraged us to make a financial concession on the home for the buyers, which we did. However he collected his commission on the entire amount the house had been listed for, not the actual selling price. There was no negotiation, he was firm he was going to receive the entire commission, stating this was disclosed in the paperwork. We spoke with the office manager, his mother, who supported her son's decision. Unfortunately we would not recommend Mr. Tyson.

Depoimento: Scarla represented the seller's home that my husband and I found on Zillow and eventually bought. Because we didn't go through a buyer's agent, she acted as an liaison between the sellers and us. As first time home buyers, we were under the impression that the process was horribly complicated, and that we didn't have proper representation because we didn't have a buyer's agent, but Scarla proved to be a skilled and very fair negotiator. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market, specifically in the Bushwick/Bed Stuy area, and understands the home buying/selling process intimately, and held our hands throughout the process. I highly recommend Scarla!
