Depoimento: My family relocated to Peninsula area and lived in a rental duplex through Connie Wu. When I was first walking through the rental property with Connie. Connie asked a lot about my family information and how much water we used. Her attitude gave me an impression that she was doing me a big favor. At that time, I was trying to meet my kid's school schedule, so I signed a one-year lease. BTW, the property was 931 Millbrae Ave at Millbrae.After the first year, our lease became month-by-month which was very common for most leasing cases. A month right before the new school year for my kid, Connie called me and wanted to increase the rent by ~10%. To be fair, our original rent fee was already above the market-value, as we found that the rent fee for a nearby property in a similar condition was $400 less than our original number. I didn't want my kids to change school since it was merely a month before the new school year. So I agreed to pay 10% more. However, Connie further requested to sign a full-term one-year lease. That was a deal breaker and eventually I decide to move out.During the move-out period. I tried very hard to clean the house. I also hired a professional cleaning company. I was pretty sure that I have recovered the house condition to its original state. Before I left the property, I requested Connie to walk through to examine the condition. She didn't do it and didn't tell me anything about whether the property condition met her expectation. I did not receive deposit within 21 days as stated in the contract or by California rental law. After phone calls with her, the deposit was finally arrived. However, she and the landlord deducted ~$400 from my deposit. She didn't show me any proof on how this $400 was spent on cleaning or repairing.When my wife called Connie to discuss this deposit deduction, Connie was very irritable and denied anything wrong on her side. She even said that we should show gratitude to her because she rented that duplex to us.I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one treated by Connie in this way. The tenants lived in my neighbor (a.k.a., 933 Millbrae Ave.) was also forced to leave by getting 42% rent increase from Connie, and they also got a large deposit deduction. That tenant has lived there for more than 10 years and was very unhappy with Connie.

She knows which counties allow what, such as; how many acres are needed for horses or which ones require the septic to be pumped and she knows with school districts are where.She is honest and is not pushy and will give you all the information you need to make an informed decision!! Depoimento: Karen is the realtor you want by your side throughout the selling process. She is kind and caring, but tough as nails. I shared some of her emails with family members in other parts of the state and all replied with the same comment. When we sale our home we hope we find someone like her. The other realtors I dealt with from potential buyers to the realtor I dealt with buying my new home were in it for one thing only - the money. Karen was there to help you through the process. Oh, and the added benefit is she does it all for 4%. That saved me $5,000!

I got cashiers check that day ready to hand over to Ms. Heide and she had me locked in asap.
