Ginny is extremely knowledgeable about the area and pointed us in the direction of a community that was a perfect fit for our growing family. She honed in on our preferences so well, and did some extra investigating to help us find a home that was off-market, but about to be put back on the market. We were able to negotiate a fair price and had a smooth transaction. We were so happy in that neighborhood and home for many years. In 2022, it came time for us to sell our home and Team McGill helped us again on the selling side. They guided us through the process and helped us stage our home using what we had and also home decor that they had which was quite extensive. The market took a turn and interest rates were soaring, so it was a challenging time to sell, but Ginny and Dean persevered in marketing our home until we found the right buyer, and also navigated all of the intricacies of a corporation relocation with us. Ginny was my primary contact and she has the experience, perspective and savvy to get the job done and she always gave me confidence that things would work out. She also has a lot of connections to professionals in the area and those connections and relevant knowledge are very valuable. Ginny even gave me advice on the home purchase for our out-of-state home and offered emotional support and guidance during a stressful time. Her advice was spot on, and even times when I chose a different direction, I wish I would have listened to her! We are very grateful to have had Team McGill on our side as both a buyer and a seller.

She listened to what my husband and I wanted, and dealt with us wanting to see 20 houses. Very patient! She knows Charlottesville and the surrounding areas very extensively. Although she had not been in the Lake Monticello very recently or often at the time of our purchase, (which is where we were looking), she talked to everyone she knew, and did her research on the area- letting me know the good and the bad of the area. I personally have the delight to say that Adam Huss came through for us in every way imaginable EXCEEDING our expectations. He is prompt, professional, intelligent and most importantly a nice human being. This was our first time selling a property and dare I say he held my hand through the whole process. Depoimento: We can’t say enough about our great experience working with Sheila Pepper. She helped us purchase our home in Imperial Beach. Since we were buying from out of state it was crucial to have a realtor “on the ground”.It was a long process – six months, but Sheila worked with us every step of the way – she even put us in touch with an excellent Lender that got us preapproved and wrote up a strong approval letter that we could provide with each offer that we made. Not only did Sheila inform us when new listings were available, she quickly got to the properties and shot videos for us focusing on the areas that we were interested in. We ended up making offers on 5 homes in total (lost 4 and got the 5th) and if it were not for Sheila’s quick actions and staying in touch with sellers in the area we may never have got the home of our dreams. She was always available to meet with us when we were we able to travel here to look at properties, she would work with us late into the evenings assisting us with putting together our offers so we could electronically sign them and get them submitted in what was a very difficult market to buy a home.Sheila was very helpful through the entire closing process – coordinating here locally with everyone, having the home cleaned and the locks rekeyed before we got to town and meeting us at our new home with the keys the day we arrived to move in. We have been in our home for 6 months now and know that if we had not had Sheila assisting us with our beach home purchase, we would still be looking. We highly recommend her – and Sheila to you – thank you again.
